The Colon Cancer Challenge Foundation (CCCF) is pleased to announce the date of the 2012 New York Colon Cancer Challenge! The tri-state's premier colorectal cancer awareness event will take place on April 1st in iconic Central Park. The 9th Annual New York Colon Cancer Challenge will include a 15K and 4-mile run as well as a 1.7 Mile Remembrance & Prevention Walk. The Challenge offers colorectal cancer survivors, and the family and friends of those affected by colorectal cancer a unique opportunity to help raise public awareness and contribute to the fight against this often fatal, yet largely preventable disease. Spots for this event do sell out quickly - CCCF encourages you to Register Now to secure your spot in Central Park! There are a number of ways you can make a difference. Join a Team, Start a Team or Register as an Individual on April 1st in Central Park. Can't make it to Central Park on April 1st or don't like to walk or run? You can still make a significant impact on our fight against colorectal cancer. We invite you to Sleep in for the Challenge! You can Join a Team, Start your own Team or Register as an Individual. With either option you can Register to Sleep In until April 20th! Proceeds raised will directly support the Colon Cancer Challenge Foundation's national mission and initiatives. Through The Challenge you have a unique opportunity to help raise public awareness and contribute to the fight against this often fatal, yet preventable, disease. Our goal for this year is $1,000,000. For every $600 we raise - one uninsured individual can be screened. For every $2000 we raise - a promising young investigator can travel to an important medical conference to present their research.
We look forward to seeing you there! The CCCF Home Team |
